Thanks to Chris Heivly, head of the Triangle Startup Factory for inviting my partner David and I out last night to his 2nd mixer for software entrepreneurs here in the area. The event was held at Bronto's office with pizza/soda provided by CED. There were about 75+ people there and it was exclusively for software entrepreneurs.
Chris invited Merrill Mason to come by and talk about how to set up a new company and he gave a 15 minute overview of that process. For those that know Merrill, he is a real pro here locally with that stuff.
If you are starting out and a software entrepreneur, keep an eye out for the next one of these. I think these are good opportunities for people to meet informally, share their ideas with others and maybe even find a co-founder for a new company!
Yep, that's probably the best place, Bill. You can also follow him on Twitter - @trianglesf

I attended the first event, but missed this one because I didn't hear anything about it. Is the only place to get info about the meetups on the TSF website?
