I had a post back in January about the launch of Triangle Startup Factory here in NC. As Chris Heivly worked on starting and building TSF, we have been supportive in helping him out with networking here in the area.
Today, Chris publicly announced that he is merging TSF with the well-established LaunchBox Digital. You can read details here. Historically, LaunchBox ran their programs during the summer - 2008 and 2009, but they are now planning on a Fall program here in NC.
I hope programs like help retain more smart entrepreneurs here in NC and that it acts as a recruiting tool for new ones.
And as very early feeback, I already heard from one company that is planning to apply!
