Over 600 people attended last week's Tech '06 here in Raleigh - which was record attendance for the 16th annual CED conference.
If you didn't attend, highlights included 4 great speakers, 3 panels and 27 demo technologies. Smart move - this was the first year that CED included companies from outside of NC. I liked that idea a lot and I think it attracted a lot more out of state interest.
It was great seeing so many people there. For me, one of the speaker highlights was the keynote from Jim Steele, president of Salesforce.com. Here is his presentation that he gave where he talks about the future of software.
UPDATE: Thanks to Garrett French for emailing me this morning with this link - he shot and published David Bonderman's keynote. David is the founding partner of Texas Pacific Group.
